Yubikiri and Pinky Promises (don't exist)
A pinky promise is considered to build basic foundations of friendship.
But the ‘act’ of a pinky promise can demonstrate lessons of trust, distrust, silence, disbelief, repression, depression, belief, calm, annoyance, stress, pain, fear, love, hate, forgiveness, loss, relief, sadness and joy within us.
Making, keeping and breaking promises are attributes to the human experience and knowledge. Whether it’s made together, independently or left unspoken; these promises can come from deep within and build strength. Conversely, broken promises can cause extreme pain and loneliness
We learn about ourselves and how we behave through these different forms of promises, especially from the broken ones.
With all the noise a promise can cause inside our minds, the main consideration with a promise should be about compassion, to ourselves and to others.
