Simon Davenport
Simon Davenport is a sculptor and filmmaker based in Folkestone.
Recent projects include Helen Keller holding a Magnolia with Cerith Wyn Evans, Josey, Norwich (2019), Pale Havoc, Maison Grégoire, Brussels (2017), Tinitus Detritus, Second Room, Ghent, Belgium (2016) and New Pabulum, Kunstraum, London (2015).
In 2012, Davenport was included in Young British Art curated by Ryan Gander and Christina von Rotenhan at DIENSTGEBÄUDE, Zurich. In 2017, he contributed to Peter Coffin’s project Imaginery Concerts published by Printed Matter, USA.
Davenport was recently commissioned for Folkestone Triennial 2021.
